Every Orbion ring is handcrafted to order, so the size you choose is the size we make. It's worth a few minutes to get it right.

Three ways to find your size

1. Have it measured. The most reliable option. Any local jeweler will size your finger in under a minute, usually for free. If you're buying an engagement ring as a surprise, borrow a ring she already wears on that finger and take it in.

2. Measure a ring you already own. Lay it flat and measure straight across the inside of the band, edge to edge, in millimetres. Measure the inside, not the outside — a thick band can throw this off by a full size.

3. Measure your finger. Wrap a strip of paper or a piece of string snugly around the base of your finger. Mark where it overlaps, lay it flat, and measure the length in millimetres. That's your circumference. Snug, not tight — if it leaves a mark on your skin, it's too tight.

Before you measure

Measure at the end of the day. Fingers are largest in the evening and smallest first thing in the morning.
Measure warm. Cold hands can read a full half size smaller.
Check the knuckle. The ring has to pass over it. If your knuckle is noticeably larger than the base of your finger, size to the knuckle.
Wide bands sit tighter. For a band wider than about 6 mm, go up a quarter to a half size.
Measure more than once, on different days.
